Feature: Hunter's Landing Bottle Shop

Like it or not, we are still living in a Covid-19 world and trudging through the changes that were put into effect here in Toronto way back when in March ‘20. The biggest obstacle we’ve had to overcome, of course (and I know you all know what I’m about to say): the reduced store hours at our beloved LCBO. Hardest yet, the complete closure on Monday’s…

Well, as someone who can’t for the life of them plan in advance or predict just when the craving for an ice cold beer or a good old bottle of red will kick in, The Bottle Shop located on the patio of Hunter’s Landing in Toronto’s CityPlace has come in handy on more than one occasion.

More than just the optimum operational hours, The Bottle Shop actually carries some awesome bottles and cans from local breweries, wineries, and distilleries that are hard to find.

A few other craft brews are available for mix & Match choosing as well, most offered at $25/6 or $45/12.

There are wicked deals and promotions you wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else. Like a free bottle of bitters with the purchase of any bottle of Dillion’s 750ml, or a Steam Whistle cooler-backpack already filled with 16 cans of Steam Whistle for $60.

Speaking of not being able to find anywhere else - The Bottle Shop somehow got their hands on assorted packs of White Claw, which include the can’t-get-anwhere-else-in-Canada Ruby Grapefuit flavour (of which I am guilty of buying many packs just for this flavour).

Take a peak at the Bottle Shop in the carousel below, and the next time you’re around the CityPlace neighbourhood, I definitely recommend checking out the shop in person!
