Easy Pink Sauce Orecchiette
Turn your favourite tomato sauce into pink/blush/rosé sauce in minutes.
Ingredients:
orecchiette
your fave tomato sauce
cream, red onion
garlic (mine is from my garden! Thanks @westcoastseeds!)
brown beech mushrooms
Method:
Sauté minced garlic in olive oil and then add your diced red onion and mushroom together to brown. Then add tomato sauce and a generous glug of cream. Reduce until desired sauce thickness and add salt and pepper, then add a bit of pasta water and reduce again. Add your freshly cooked al dente pasta orecchiette in and mix into the sauce, then garnish with chives!
